Steps
- Open the PDF and note the page numbers you actually need. Do this before you upload anywhere.
- Drop the file on Split PDF.
- Extract the range. If you only need page 3, do not explode a 40-page scan into 40 files.
- If the portal wants those pages back in one packet, Merge PDF joins them in drop order.
Size
Splitting does not compress. A 10MB scan split into ten files is still about 10MB in total. Run Compress PDF on the piece you will send.
Password-locked files must be unlocked with the password you know before pages can be copied out.
