Why formatting used to break

A PDF is a drawing. Word is a flow. Naive converters copy every line into a single column and throw away images — that is the “pasted text” result.

PakPDFConverter’s PDF to Word default is Keep original layout: each PDF page becomes a matching Word page, graphics stay put, and text is overlaid at the original positions so you can still edit it.

A local workflow that loses less

  1. If the PDF is a scan with no selectable text, run OCR PDF first, then convert.
  2. If it is digital (you can select text), use PDF to Word with Keep original layout.
  3. Choose Editable text only when you want a reflowing document instead of a visual copy.
  4. For a pixel-only clone with no Word text, PDF to JPG still exists.

“Without email” matters because many converters hold the document until you confirm an inbox. This page does not.
